..and we’re half way there

Through my exams, I mean.

On the past two days, I’ve had arguably the hardest two exams. Gosh, I really hope I don’t have to repeat those two units. That’d be torture.

I’ve got two more to go, thankfully they’re a bit easier.

I have a months holiday after! Yay!

so, is it Football or Soccer?

Short answer, both.

Check out this event on Facebook. RSVP whatever you like. Just have a read at some of the wall posts and comments.

There seems to be a theme emerging. Australians (and to an extent, Americans) arguing about Soccer/Football. Which you say? Either. Some are complaining about the name, others complaining about which is better.

I’ll give a straight answer. All are codes of Football. All have their own rules, own governing body, own style of play. So what? Which is better? Neither. As I say, different skill sets, different ability – you cannot compare the sports (I include American Gridiron and rugby in my argument). Now you read some of those comments. Oh, how naive the people can be.

On to the real issue here. Giving Soccer a bad name. Which code is the true Football? No easy answer to that one either. Soccer is used colloquially. Much like “footy”. The term is used here because of AFL. Which guess what, is the governing body of Australian Rules Football. Yea, totally didn’t see that one coming. Australians deserve the right to call their own sport football, and why shouldn’t they? Its their rules. The same goes for any country. Confused? How about calling soccer, Association Football and AFL, Australian Rules Football. That should help you sort out the two.

Alright. So which is the true Football?
My answer: soccer.
Why? Because they actually use their feet.

That solves everything doesn’t it? I hope so.

What do you think? Give me a shout.

believe that anything you can imagine, you can make real.

make.believe

I gotta say, Sony’s new campaign is a real inspiration. They’re currently running a competition to experience on of four unique Sony Experiences.

Of course, I’ve entered. And you can help me out.

I entered myself into the Gaming Experience. What this means is that if I win, I get a trip to the Tokyo Game Show and accommodation for five nights. $1,500 spending money, access to pre-release games from SCE and a PS3. Sounds like something I want (need)? Definitely. And you can make my dreams come true.

With all experiences, the selected person will get a Sony bloggie, a VAIO E series notebook and a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10. What more could you ask for? Yes, to actually win those things. Please endorse my entry. You can find out more via the link.

It is my dream to work at Sony.

Thanks for reading.

closing in on the end of semester

Exam timetables are out, its okay I guess. They’re all different.

There’s only about a month left before semester is over. Its gone so quickly!
Not sure whether to take that as a good or a bad thing.

Well some good news, Ajikan announced NANO-MUGEN CIRCUIT for this year, its like NMF but multi-venue. Almost like a mini tour. New single this month, and new album the next. Good times!

its april (obviously), which means the month of easter, anzac day and BBF.

i’ve started some seriously planning for my trip to Japan at the end of this year slash beginning of the next. I was originally planning to go with a friend or possibly two (both called kevin funnily enough) until kevin number one said he’s gonna bring a few friends along. all girls too. I thought it was gonna be my trip.. lol

But. I’m glad this happened now. Met a great new friend. We have quite a few things in common as established with an msn chat hehe.

A shout out to “Mito”. anata wa subarashii desu!

First day

Was sorta kinda boring. I discovered the bus straight home doesn’t operate after 5pm, convenient considering I finish half an hour later…

I think I should ride to uni.

:/
