50% progress update

Post at least once a month, he said. You won’t forget, he said.

Okay, okay. Hey, I’m here all right!

We’re half way through 2016 and a lot has happened. It hasn’t been a particular great year so far but life goes on and time doesn’t stop for anyone. Unless you’re a mutant named Quicksilver, then yea, I guess it slows down just a bit.

I’m looking forward to the latter half of the year because I’ve got some stuff lined up – it’s gonna be pretty busy!

My sister is getting married at the end of August so I’ll be taking a week off work so I can enjoy that weekend properly and also go away with friends and family that I have coming over from interstate (my sister and I share the same group of friends interstate). I’m really keen to travel and explore more of WA and going on a possible road trip!

The Socceroos (Australian National Football Team) are also scheduled to play a World Cup qualifier in Perth again in September and I’m so pumped for that. It will be my second time watching the national team live, and in person and I’m glad they picked Perth as a venue for such an important game.

Not long after that, it’s PAX time – need I say more?

I’ll also be making yet another trip interstate to watch my first ever Perth Glory away games. I plan to catch a game in Melbourne and Sydney at the end of the year, celebrating the new year in Sydney – something I haven’t done since I was a kid growing up there. Hm, maybe if I stopped going interstate so much I’d save enough money for that second trip to Japan?

As you can see, I’ve got a massive second half of 2016 lined up. I’ll try my best to document it all! Don’t forget I have a YouTube channel over at http://rith.tv. My latest video is a recreation of the famous Mysterious Ticking Noise from Potter Puppet Pals. It was super fun to make, and super silly.

Thanks for reading this far and I hope you also have a rad rest of 2016!
